About the Program
Recognizing a need for qualified drivers in the trucking industry, York County School of Technology instituted its truck-driving program. Over the past twenty-one years, we have graduated over fourteen hundred students. We have built a reputation for producing qualified, skillful drivers with the knowledge and attitude necessary to get the job done.
Class size is kept at a level which allows students ample vehicle time to acquire the skills needed for employment. Real life situations are incorporated into the program so that the graduate student will have confidence and skill when entering the job market.
