Sports Physicals for the 2023-24 School Year
We will offer ALL SPORTS PHYSICALS by appointment only in the Spartan Fieldhouse on June 5th and August 1st from 6-8PM. Physicals on June 5th will be free of charge, the August physical will be $15.

Physical forms will be available in all school offices and for download from this website on May 30, 2023. Any physical, by PIAA rule, done before June 1, 2023 is invalid. Physicals must be dated June 1, 2023 or thereafter for the 2023-24 school year. NOTE: One physical is good for all sports for the school year. PIAA Physical Form

LIVESTREAM LINKS FOR AWAY CONTESTS
For YAIAA schools, use this LINK to get to the YAIAA website and then locate the name of the school we are playing on the day of the contest. Livestreaming for outdoor sports is very limited or not available.
For non-league schools it is recommended that you visit the school's website of the host school for streaming information.
LIVESTREAM LINKS FOR HOME CONTESTS
We will be livestreaming home events. Use the link in red for all indoor sporting events and events held in the football stadium. These events will air on the York Tech You Tube Channel. Please note streaming will not appear until game time.
At this time only events in the Fieldhouse and HS Gym are being livestreamed. In the fall we will be livestreaming football. We do not presently have the ability to stream field hockey, softball, baseball, or track.
SPORTS INFORMATION AND SIGN-UPS

SPORTS PHYSICAL EXAMS
The physical must be on the official PIAA CIPPE Physical Form dated JUNE 1, 2023 or later to participate in sports for the 2023-2024 school year.
These forms will be available May 30, 2023 by using the link above or they may be picked up at the kiosk, high school office, or the attendance/transportation office.
Students playing a Winter Sport or Spring Sport will need to turn in a PIAA Re-Certification form to participate in those sports. The form does not require a physician's signature unless the athlete was unable to return to play in the fall. These forms will not available until the completion of Fall Sports. They may be picked up at the kiosk, high school office, or the attendance/transportation office.
Athletes may make arrangements with a personal physician for a physical but it should be scheduled at least six weeks in advance of the season.
WellSpan offers walk-in sports physicals seven days a week for $15.

Spartan Success
Spartan Baseball, Track & Field, Cross Country, Football and Softball teams have won YCIAA and YAIAA league championships. Many Tech athletes have qualified for and found success at District and State basketball tournaments, cross country and track meets, swim meets, and wrestling championships. In addition Spartans have led our division in several statistical categories. We are also very proud of the large number of league sportsmanship the athletic teams continue to accumulate.
BANNERS, SIGNS, NOISEMAKERS, LISTENING DEVICES, AND SPECTATOR DECORUM
The presence and/or the use of balloons, banners, laser pointers, noisemakers, pom-poms or sports balls (by spectators), shakers, signs, sirens, strips of material, towels, whistles, and/or portable listening devices (without earphones) are PROHIBITED! The use of pom-poms by cheerleaders and small portable listening devices with earphones is permitted. Spectators are prohibited from removing their shirt and/or using face/body paint or any garment that covers the face while in attendance.
Interscholastic Athletic Opportunities Disclosure Form
In compliance with State regulations, York County School of Technology completes the Interscholastic Athletic Opportunities Disclosure Form in late October of each school year. This reporting requirement provides a detailed review of athletic programs offered by York County School of Technology and includes the number of students participating and the cost of each competitive athletic program for grades 9 through 12.
A copy of the report is available for review in the Administration Office.
