Job Overview & Description

York Tech is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for a Paraprofessional position beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.   The person hired for this role will work closely with our Special Education team and other faculty in our Spartan Success Center, providing supports and resources to help guide our students on their path to success.


Individuals applying for this position must meet the following conditions and qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher strongly preferred, otherwise candidates must have completion of 48 postsecondary credits or evidence of successful completion of a formal assessment in reading, writing, and math.

  • Proficiency with technology, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other Office Suite programs.

  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of students, parents, coworkers, and the community in a manner which demonstrates dignity and respect.

  • Must meet all legal requirements, submit all criminal background checks, clearance statements, and the like, established by law; and


This is an hourly position with an anticipated rate of pay between $14.00--$17.00/hour, based on relevant prior experience.  Medical and dental benefits are available, as well as membership in a retirement system and paid leave time.
