Civil Rights Complaint Procedure

USDA prohibits discrimination against its customers. If you believe you experienced discrimination when obtaining services from USDA, participating in a USDA program, or a program that receives financial assistance from USDA, you may file a complaint with USDA. CHIP

The Children's Health Insurance Program — or CHIP — is Pennsylvania's program to provide health coverage to uninsured children and teens who are not eligible for or enrolled in Medicaid. Regardless of the reasons your children might not have health insurance, CHIP may be able to help you. Visit the CHIP website for more information.

COMPASS

COMPASS is Pennsylvania's fast and easy way to apply for health and human services. It is a single access point for:

Health care coverage
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
Free or reduced-price school meals
Cash assistance
Child care works
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Long-term living services – home and community based
Long-term living services – nursing home and related facilities

Disabilities and Special Dietary Needs

Schools participating in a federal school meal program are required to make reasonable accommodations for children who are unable to eat the school meals because of a disability that restricts the diet. Read the information provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for details.

SUN Meals

Children 18 and under can enjoy meals at participating meal sites during the summer. SUN Meals are free and help kids get the nutrition they need all summer long. Use the summer meals site finder to locate a distribution spot near you.
