Reimbursable Meals
Reimbursable Breakfasts
Reimbursable breakfast meals include one (1) breakfast entrée, two (2) fruit servings, and one (1) milk. Students who do not want all of the food components included with a reimbursable breakfast may get a minimum of one (1) breakfast entrée and one (1) fruit serving.
NOTE: Students approved for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program need to have a reimbursable breakfast meal to avoid à la carte pricing.
Reimbursable Lunches
Reimbursable lunch meals include one (1) lunch entrée, two (2) fruit servings, two (2) vegetable servings, and one (1) milk. Students do not need to take every food component included with a reimbursable lunch. The meal options listed below meet the minimum requirements for a reimbursable lunch and can help avoid waste:
One (1) lunch entrée and one (1) fruit serving
One (1) lunch entrée and one (1) vegetable serving
Two (2) fruit servings, one (1) vegetable serving, and one (1) milk (vegetarian option)
One (1) fruit serving, two (2) vegetable servings, and one (1) milk (vegetarian option)
A variety of entrées are served daily. Other entrées that count toward a reimbursable meal include assorted pizza, assorted premade salads, peanut butter and jelly Uncrustables, and assorted hot entrées.
NOTE: If a lunch entrée includes a dinner roll, students most have both the entrée and roll for it to count as one entrée. The entrées that include a dinner role are chicken tenders (regular and hot), chicken drumstick, and some entrées that are served on the main service line.
