Day-to-Day Substitute Teachers

Job Overview & Description

The York County School of Technology is in need of day-to-day substitute teachers for technical and academic areas. Day-to-day substitute teachers are called to work with students when the regular teacher is not available due to approved conferences, illness, etc. You will be provided with daily lesson plans. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. Rate of Pay: $110.00 per day, increasing to $125.00 per day after 20 cumulative days of subsituting. To substitute in academic classes, individuals must hold a bachelor's degree in any field. Substitute School Nurses must be licensed as a Pennsylvania R.N. To substitute in technical areas, individuals are required to have experience in the trade area and a high school diploma or GED. A college degree is not required.
