New Website Rollout — York Tech began migrating to a new website on Wednesday, June 28. This process could take up to 72 hours to complete, and the site may be slower than normal during the transition. If you visit www.ytech.edu but are still being directed to the old site on or after July 2, please clear your browser's cache and try again. One important change to note is the creation of a student intranet, which will house most of the student-specific information that was previously located on the old website. (More information about the intranet will be given to students at a later date.) We hope the updated site will provide a better experience for current and prospective York Tech families!
News & Notes
National Awards — York Tech recently received two awards from the National School Public Relations Association. A 2023 NSPRA Award of Excellence was given for the Spartan Review newsletter, and the March 2023 students-of-the-month video earned the same award. Congratulations to everyone involved, especially the students who made this recognition possible!
Broadband Survey — The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development is asking all PA residents to complete this survey related to broadband connectivity and digital access. The anonymous information respondents provide will give vital support to the Commonwealth’s strategies to close the digital divide.
Summer Newsletters — You may have noticed that the Spartan Review was not distributed last week. During the summer, this publication will be sent when there is enough important content. It will return to weekly distribution slightly before school starts in August.
Summer Hours — York Tech remains open during the summer, but some departments use modified operating hours. Please refer to this page for a listing of the operating hours for key areas, including the Guidance Department and the high school’s main office.

Lanzamiento del nuevo sitio web — York Tech comenzó a migrar a un nuevo sitio web el miércoles 28 de junio. Este proceso puede tardar hasta 72 horas en completarse y el sitio puede ser más lento de lo normal durante la transición. Premios Nacionales York — Tech recibió recientemente dos premios de la Asociación Nacional de Relaciones Públicas Escolares. Se otorgó un Premio NSPRA a la Excelencia 2023 por el Revisión Espartana boletín de noticias, y el video de los estudiantes del mes de marzo de 2023 ganó el mismo premio. Felicidades a todos involucrado, en especial a los alumnos que hicieron posible este reconocimiento!
Encuesta estatal de banda ancha — El Departamento de Desarrollo Comunitario y Económico de Pensilvania está pidiendo a todos los residentes de Pensilvania que completen esta encuesta relacionados con la conectividad de banda ancha y el acceso digital. La información anónima que proporcionen los encuestados brindará un apoyo vital a las estrategias del Commonwealth para cerrar la brecha digital.
