Durham School Services, York Tech's student transportation provider, is currently offering a sign-on bonus for new bus drivers. Details are listed below.
Fully Licensed Drivers (BPS)
Eligibility
Must not have worked with the company in the last six months
Must be a fully licensed (BPS) driver
Bonus
$2,500 total paid in four installments
First payment: $500 after 90 days
Second payment: $500 after 180 days
Third payment: $500 after 270 days
Fourth payment: $1,000 after 360 days
New, Unlicensed Drivers
Eligibility
Must want to train for CDL or be a van driver wanting to upgrade to CDL
Must pass the Driver Qualification (BPS) and be added to the driver pool
Bonus
$1,000 total paid in four installments:
First payment: $200 after 90 days
Second payment: $200 after 180 days
Third payment: $200 after 270 days
Fourth payment: $400 after 360 days
Terms
Drivers must be actively driving on the specified dates to receive payments
This is a limited-time program
$500 referral bonus after 60 days of start date
