Date & Time
This year’s homecoming dance will be held at York Tech from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025. The homecoming football game will be held on the same day at 10 a.m. against Biglerville in York Tech’s stadium.
Attendance & Tickets
All York Tech students are invited to attend but only juniors and seniors will be permitted to attend the dance with outside guests. Tickets will be sold from approximately Sept 29-Oct. 15. The sales link is posted below. Tickets will cost $20 per person.

After making an online purchase, no physical or digital ticket will be issued. However, students must retain the electronic receipt and present it at the door as proof of purchase. The name of each student for whom a ticket is purchased will be recorded and used to verify attendance eligibility on the day of the dance. All dance attendees must have their photo ID available to show, if requested by a staff member.
Outside Guests
Juniors and seniors are permitted to attend the dance with outside guests. All non-York Tech dance guests must be pre-registered by submitting the Dance Guest Agreement Form, which can be obtained in the High School Office. The completed form should be turned into the High School Office before a ticket is purchased for the individual. All outside guests must have their photo ID available to show, if requested by a staff member.
Theme and Dress
The theme of the dance will be Enchanted Forest. Students’ attire does not have to match the theme. This is a semi-formal event, and students should dress accordingly. Jeans and hats will not be permitted.
Ballroom Closet
York Tech students in need of dance attire may visit the Ballroom Closet, located in The HUB. The Ballroom Closet will be open 7:50-8:10 a.m. on school days from Sept. 29 through Oct. 24. Gowns, suits, and men’s and women’s shoes will be available. All items are free of charge. Students should visit Ms. Hawkins in Room 1258 with questions.
Dinner
Food trucks, such as Killer Eats, SoCo Tacos, Premium Shaved Ice, Bricker’s Famous Fries, and On My Grind Coffee, will be on campus selling food from 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Students will have the option to pay for food from these vendors. Light refreshments will also be available at no charge.
