WellSpan has increased its prices for walk-in physicals from $15 to $40. However, $15 physicals will be offered temporarily on the following dates:
Nov. 10, 2026, 5-7 p.m., WellSpan Orthopedics West York
Nov. 17, 2026, 5-7 p.m., WellSpan Orthopedics Hanover
Who is Eligible
These events are specifically for student-athletes who are planning to play a sport during the 2026-27 school year.
Registration
Student-athletes MUST sign up ahead of time; no walk-ins will be accepted. If applicable, wear your contacts/glasses. Appointment times are first come, first served and can be reserved using the following links:
One athlete is permitted per spot, so, for example, two siblings would need to reserve two spots. Physicals obtained through WellSpan outside of this event will be at the $40 rate.
Paperwork
Students can get a copy of the PIAA form from the High School Office during school hours. A digital copy of the physical form can be downloaded and printed. Please complete the first five sections of the PIAA form before you arrive. The final section will be completed during your sports physical.
Reminders
Student-athletes who wish to participate in a sport during the 2026-27 school year must submit a sports physical on the proper PIAA form dated May 1 or later. Completed physical forms should be given to the student-athlete's coach. Alternatively, visit York Tech during operating hours and ask the receptionist inside Door 1 to put the paperwork in the athletics director's mailbox.
