    < Back Maintenance Worker Job Type: Full Time Apply Now Job Overview & Description The Maintenance Worker's main responsibility is to complete general repairs and maintenance on equipment and structures to ensure a safe environment for staff and students. As a member of the support staff, maintenance workers report to the Director or Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds. Candidates must have at least three years of prior experieence in general maintence work and possess a valid driver's license. Background checks are required for this position. General duties include: Electrical repairs, maintenance and installation Plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation HVAC maintenance and repairs General carpentry Miscellaneous building repairs Locker repairs Grounds maintenance and repairs Miscellaneous machinery repairs Occasional general custodial work Work independently and with others to complete tasks Communicate with staff, service providers, contractors, and visitors in a friendly, efficient, effective, respectful, and timely manner.
