Spirit and Harmony Description All York Tech students may join this group. Members engage in honest conversations about problems within the student body in order to promote growth and learning, brainstorm ways to resolve issues, create empathy, and celebrate diversity. Game Development Club Description This group is available to all York Tech students. Members design and test games of all types, including board games, card games, and videogames. Activities include designing game rules, 2D art, 3D art, and programming. Advisors Mr. Christopher Smith

FFA Description Members compete in an FFA contest, leadership conferences, community service, fundraisers, and agricultural field trips. Advisors Mrs. Katie Rae Warner

Esports Description This group is open to all York Tech students. Members play multiplayer competitive video games against other high school teams. Currently, competitions center around Overwatch, League of Legends, Super Smash Brothers, Splatoon 3, Mario Kart 8, and Rocket League. Advisors Mr. Duncan Merkert

Spartan Leadership Club Description All York Tech students may join this group.Members have the power to positively impact the school’s community by promoting social inclusion. Activities include Villanova Fall Fest, Polar Plunge/Pop, Spread the Word to End the Word, Battle of the Spartans, and much more. Advisors TBD

SkillsUSA Description All York Tech students may join this group. SkillsUSA is a national organization that develops employability and leadership skills to complement the occupational skills developed by students in career and technical education classes. Advisors Mr. Matthew Balsavage

Live Loud Description Live Loud is a Christian club that provides a comfortable and supportive environment for all students to come and unite in their faith. Anyone is welcome no matter where they are in their walk with God. The club engages in student led discussions, prayer, and bible study. It also hosts arts and crafts activities, coordinates after-school movie matinees, and gets involved in community activities. Advisors Ms. Melissa Stonesifer

Cosmetology Club Description This group is open to all cosmetology students. The purpose of the Cosmetology Club is to offer cosmetology students the opportunity to increase their experience in retail sales, record keeping, goal setting, and leadership. Advisors Ms. Meranda Rodenhaber

Dungeons and Dragons Club Description This club is centered around the table top role playing game Dungeons and Dragons. Students play together to create a narrative story of adventure and fantasy. Environmental Club Description All York Tech students are invited to participate in the Environmental Club, which is committed to getting members outdoors and in touch with local natural resources. Activities include local hiking, community service projects, and attending special programs to foster an appreciation for nature. The club’s engagement ranges from working with local leaders in the community to learning how to be stewards of the environment to just spending time together outdoors. CyberPatriot Description This club is available to all York Tech students. It involves student-led classes about cyber security and network security for both the average computer user and the more advanced IT student. Members meet weekly to practice, and a series of competitions are held throughout the school year during which students form teams and complete cyber security challenges from the official cyber patriot organization . Motorsports Tech Club Description This group is only available to students in the Powersports and Engine Technology program. Members fix and sell equipment, diagnose and repair customer equipment, and practice running their business. Students practice skills associated with being club officers, running elections, participating in meetings, providing customer service, troubleshooting, and estimating jobs. Advisors Mr. Mike Spahr
