Spirit Week — There's nothing better than the energy of Spartan Nation leading up to homecoming! This week’s festivities included Sports Jersey Day, Twin Day, Decades Day, Superhero Day, and the annual fall pep rally. We also announced the 11 members of the Homecoming Court: Amara Dwyer-Desell, Rachel Almoney, Raelynn Masch, Alysia Moore, Tanaya Ortiz, Kirsten Ricks, Karinne Smith, Annabelle Wentz, Kiyan Doorandish, Adin Luckenbaugh, and Nyshon Scott. Long-Term Planning — York Tech recently partnered with an architectural firm to conduct a feasibility study. At the conclusion of the study, the firm will provide options for how to increase the number of students York Tech can serve, while also solving operational issues presented by the school’s layout. Need to Know
FAFSA Info Night — Current York Tech seniors and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend a free, virtual financial aid (FAFSA) informational event on Oct. 16. This session will be geared toward students who plan to attend college and would like to apply for financial assistance from the federal government. Please click on the link for more information. Senior Caps and Gowns — We have partnered with Student Services Company to provide York Tech seniors with custom caps and gowns and other official graduation products. The order deadline for these items is Thursday, Oct. 17. Please click on the link for details. [More]
Winter Sports Meetings — All student-athletes interested in playing a winter sport should plan to attend the winter sports meetings during intervention on Oct. 16. The meeting location for each sport will be shared during morning announcements and displayed on the lobby TVs closer to Oct. 16. Students may only attend one meeting, and anyone interested in being a manager should also attend. Student-athletes must have a sports physical on the proper PIAA form dated May 1 or later to participate. The forms can be found at the following link. [Forms]
Picture Retake Day — Students wishing to participate in Picture Retake Day on Oct. 17 should notify Ms. Marstellar in the Attendance Office. Alternatively, parents and caregivers can notify her by calling 717-741-0820 x5202. Students eligible to participate include those who missed the original Picture Day and those who aren’t satisfied with their original photo. The retake photo will be used as the final yearbook photo.
New Student Applications — Full-time high school applications for students entering Grades 9-10 at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year can now be submitted through Friday, Dec. 6, 2024. Please share the following link with anyone who might be interested in applying. Thank you! [More]

Reuniones de deportes de invierno —Todos los estudiantes-atletas interesados en practicar un deporte de invierno deben planear asistir a las reuniones de deportes de invierno durante la intervención el 16 de octubre. Día de recuperación de fotografías — Los estudiantes que deseen participar en el Día de recuperación de fotografías el 17 de octubre deben notificar a la Sra. Marstellar en la Oficina de Asistencia. Alternativamente, los padres y cuidadores pueden notificarle llamando al 717-741-0820 x5202. Los estudiantes elegibles para participar incluyen aquellos que se perdieron el Día de la fotografía original y aquellos que no están satisfechos con su fotografía original.
