Successful Reunion — The 2023 All-Alumni Reunion was held on Saturday, Sept. 9, and the atmosphere was amazing! This event, which was hosted by the Class of 1980, had it all — catered food, a DJ, and great company. We're so thankful for our wonderful alumni and everyone who had a hand in making this reunion possible! [Photos]

News & Notes

Class Visit — We enjoyed a visit to Mr. Spahr's Powersports & Engine Technology class on Thursday, Sept. 14. His first-year and second-year students were creating metal mounting brackets that involved using a drill press, angle grinder, and other tools. Between the flying sparks and the classmate collaborations, it was a fantastic learning environment! [Photos]

Athletics Updates — Field hockey defeated Delone Catholic on Monday, Sept. 11, to improve the team’s record to 3-1. Later the same day, girls’ volleyball bested Lancaster McCaskey by one set in a lengthy match. Additionally, on Thursday, Sept. 14, the girls’ cross country team earned its first win over Delone Catholic in ten years, and girls’ tennis outlasted Biglerville by a final of 4-1. Go, Spartans!

Scholarship Opportunity — Current juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for the TechLink Dual Enrollment Scholarship. Recipients will be able to take two free dual-enrollment courses through Harrisburg Area Community College. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 10, 2023. More details can be found at this link.

Reunión exitosa — ¡La reunión de todos los exalumnos de 2023 se llevó a cabo el sábado 9 de septiembre y el ambiente fue increíble! Visita a la clase — Disfrutamos de una visita a la clase de deportes motorizados y tecnología de motores del Sr. Spahr el jueves 14 de septiembre. Sus estudiantes de primer y segundo año estaban creando soportes de montaje metálicos que implican el uso de un taladro, una amoladora angular y otras herramientas. . Entre las chispas voladoras y las colaboraciones de los compañeros de clase, ¡fue un ambiente de aprendizaje fantástico! [Fotos]

Actualizaciones de atletismo — El hockey sobre césped derrotó a Delone Catholic el lunes 11 de septiembre para mejorar el récord del equipo a 3-1. Más tarde, ese mismo día, el voleibol femenino superó a Lancaster McCaskey por un set en un partido largo. Además, el jueves 14 de septiembre, el equipo femenino de cross country obtuvo su primera victoria sobre Delone Catholic en diez años, y el tenis femenino superó a Biglerville por una final de 4-1. ¡Vamos, espartanos!
