< Back Vendor Bingo Overview Mark your calendar! York Tech's chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) will be hosting vendor bingo Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025. All proceeds will directly benefit the chapter and its student members. Location & Times This event will be held in York Tech's cafeteria Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025. Doors will open at noon, and games will begin at 2 p.m. The address for York Tech is 2179 S. Queen St., York, PA 17402. Tickets The cost of tickets is $20; only 200 are available. Bienvenidos Description Bienvenidos is a Spanish club that is open for all students to join. It is intended for students to learn about different Latin/Hispanic cultures and the Spanish language. It also hopes to bring together Spanish-speaking and Hispanic/Latin students at York Tech. No prior Spanish language knowledge is needed! < Back Dental Assisting Overview Students in the Dental Assisting program learn to work with patients and a dental team in a dental office setting. They master skills that are critical to helping a dentist with procedures. These skills include passing dental instruments and materials, keeping the mouth dry, mixing and preparing dental materials, sterilizing instruments, disinfecting treatment rooms, and taking impressions and X-rays. Students also perform basic lab duties, such as making models of teeth. Possible Certifications Ethics in the Workplace Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) Soft Skill: Communication Soft Skill: Problem-solving Work Ethic BLS Healthcare Provider Potential Career Opportunities What to Expect This is a standalone program that does not rotate with any other programs. Students accepted into it will take Dental Assisting courses during all four years at York Tech, with the exception being students who participate in a co-op opportunity during their senior year. Careers Uniform Students at York Tech are required to wear a uniform at all times. While in their shop classes, they must wear the uniform designated by the program instructor. At all other times, students may wear their shop uniform OR York Tech apparel, which is sold through the School Store and the Fan Shop . Please review the Student Handbook for a full explanation of the dress code. The specific uniform requirements for Dental Assisting can be viewed below. All items that are hyperlinked must be purchased from the online store associated with the link. Items not hyperlinked may be purchased from any retailer, unless noted otherwise. Required Items Shop classes Gray or white lab/scrub jacket Wrist watch with seconds hand Scrub top, any color Scrub bottoms, any solid color Solid-colored leather or leather-like shoes No holes Crocs without holes are acceptable NOTE: Garments worn under uniforms must be solid-colored without stitching, designs, or lettering Academic classes Shop uniform, York Tech apparel , or Fan Shop apparel * Pants or trousers Optional Items Light blue program t-shirt Clear or mesh backpack *Some items sold in the Fan Shop, such as hats, may not be worn during school.
