Diesel Performance Club Description This club is only open to Diesel Technology students. Members explore the fields of auto diesel and agriculture diesel, as well as how to create more performance from diesel equipment. Advisors Mr. Michael Deatrick Mr. Christopher Rutters

Student Council Description All York Tech students may join this group. Members improve the school community and the community at large through many forms of service. They represent the student body and work together on projects or issues that come before the Student Council. Activities include coordinating multiple, such as Spirit Week, Pep Rally, Door Decoration Contest and more. Advisors Ms. Shilla Little

Yearbook Club Description All students may participate in this group as an elective course. Members have a major role in creating the current school year’s yearbook. This class is more of a workshop in which students (and the class as a whole) will create the theme, layout, design, and content of the yearbook. Everything is student made. Mr. Henderson oversees the process, makes executive decisions, and manages workflow and productivity. Key roles for yearbook staff include designers, photographers, and yearbook promoters. FCCLA Description Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is for students in the Education Pathway, Early Childhood Education, and Future K-12 Teacher Development programs. Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members develop skills for life – planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communications. These skills are honed through participation in meetings, conference attendance, and community service projects. Advisors Ms. Mindy Miller Ms. Nicole Lau

Winter/Spring Pep Band Description The York Tech Pep Band is a music ensemble that plays at various school and community events. The ensemble includes woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Members must have prior band experience. Advisors Ms. Amy Intrieri

Unified Sports Description Anyone at York Tech can join the unified sports teams, which consist of co-ed bocce during the winter and co-ed track during the spring. Unified sports provide people with and without intellectual disabilities opportunities to practice and compete on the same team. Training together and playing together is a path to friendship and understanding. Advisors Ms. Jodi Deller

Spirit and Harmony Description All York Tech students may join this group. Members engage in honest conversations about problems within the student body in order to promote growth and learning, brainstorm ways to resolve issues, create empathy, and celebrate diversity. Meetings are held after school or during intervention. Advisors Ms. Cecilia Arvelo Ms. Lenia Coley

Esports Description This group is open to all York Tech students. Members play multiplayer competitive video games against other high school teams. Currently, competitions center around Overwatch, League of Legends, Super Smash Brothers, Splatoon 3, Mario Kart 8, and Rocket League. Advisors Mr. Duncan Merkert

Spartan Leadership Club Description All York Tech students may join this group.Members have the power to positively impact the school’s community by promoting social inclusion. Activities include Villanova Fall Fest, Polar Plunge/Pop, Spread the Word to End the Word, Battle of the Spartans, and much more. Advisors TBD

Game Development Club Description This group is available to all York Tech students. Members design and test games of all types, including board games, card games, and videogames. Activities include designing game rules, 2D art, 3D art, and programming. Advisors Mr. Christopher Smith

FFA Description Members compete in an FFA contest, leadership conferences, community service, fundraisers, and agricultural field trips. Advisors Mrs. Katie Rae Warner

Cosmetology Club Description This group is open to all cosmetology students. The purpose of the Cosmetology Club is to offer cosmetology students the opportunity to increase their experience in retail sales, record keeping, goal setting, and leadership. Advisors Ms. Meranda Rodenhaber
